It features a clipping detector, low distortion, low output noise, standby and mute functions, and diagnostics facility for various faults.
The amplifier has low external component count, protections against output short circuit, inductive loads, and load dump voltage, and also includes fortuitous open ground and reversed battery ESD protection.
The amplifier is designed for high-end car radio applications and comes in a Flexiwatt 25 package.
It has a fully complementary PNP/NPN output configuration and does not require bootstrap capacitors.
