7.36. Burst Read with Wrap for Lower 128Mb (8CH)

The

“Burst Read with Wrap for Lower 128Mb (8CH)” command provides an alternative way to perform the read

operation with

“Wrap Around” in QPI mode. This command is similar to the “Fast Read (0BH)” command in QPI mode,

except the addressing of the read operation will

“Wrap Around” to the beginning boundary of the “Wrap Around” once the

ending boundary is reached. The

“Wrap Length” and the number of dummy clocks can be configured by the “Set Read

Parameters (C0H)

” command. The “Burst Read with Wrap for Lower 128Mb (8CH)” command will read out the memory

content from 000000H to 0FFFFFFH.

The “Burst Read with Wrap for Lower 128Mb (8CH)” command sequence: CS# goes low  sending The “Burst Read

with Wrap for Lower 128Mb (8CH)

” command  sending 3-byte address (A23-A0, The A24 default value is 0)  sending

dummy byte  then data out.
