Current Limit Register

The Current Limit register controls the ILIM used by the

port power switch. The default setting is based on the

resistor on the COMM_ILIM pin and this value cannot

be changed to be higher than hardware set value. The

contents of this register are retained in Sleep.

W = Writable bit

U = Unimplemented bit

-n = Value at POR

‘1’ = Bit is set

‘0’ = Bit is cleared

x = Bit is unknown

Unimplemented: Read as ‘0’

ILIM_PORT2<2:0>: Sets the ILIM value for Port 2

101 = 3.5A

110 = 4.3A

111 = 5.2A

Other values: Reserved, do not use.

101 = 3.5A

110 = 4.3A

111 = 5.2A
