23 / 169 page  Production Data WM8945 w PD, May 2011, Rev 4.1 23 ANALOGUE INPUT SIGNAL PATH The WM8945 has four analogue input pins, which may be selected in different configurations. The analogue input paths can support line and microphone inputs, in single-ended or pseudo-differential modes. Two of the input pins (AUX1 and AUX2) may be configured either as audio inputs or may be used as inputs to the Auxiliary ADC for analogue measurement or monitoring. The input PGA (PGA_L) is routed to the Analogue to Digital converter (ADC). There is also a bypass path, enabling the signal to be routed directly to the output mixers.
