22 / 66 page ![]() STw8009/STw8019 Functional description 21/65 4.13.2 Mode transition diagram The following mode transition diagram shows the main possible transitions between the modes and the actions. Figure 17. Mode transition diagram Transitions to OFF mode The possible transitions are indicated in Figure 17: Mode transition diagram10 in dotted lines. No internal data needs to be saved and the STw80x9 can be turned OFF from any mode. The only restriction is to comply with the power supply rules described here after. Transition from OFF mode to Sleep mode then to Active mode Power up must be done by starting from OFF to Sleep mode and then from Sleep to Active mode. Sleep to Standby is not possible. The host sends the order for the STw80x9 to switch from Sleep to Active mode by releasing Suspend ball. The device then generates a reset sequence to the DENC part. Transition from Active mode to Sleep mode In Sleep mode, DENC is not powered on. When Suspend signal changes from « 0 » to « 1 », the device goes from Active to Sleep mode and an internal Reset signal is generated by the Control Power Unit management to the DENC part. This signal has a 6 pixclk duration (pixclk = 27 MHz).
