Note(s):

1. Press debug button on power-up (VDD ON).

During power up of the AS7000 the device checks if the pin

SIGREF is shorted to GND (e.g. by a resistance of 10Ω) – see

Figure 87. If this condition is detected and the security bit is not

set, a monitor mode is entered.

In this monitor mode the AS7000 waits 5s where a debugger

can be connected. If the 10s expires without a debugger

connected, the AS7000 continues startup.

If a debugger is connected, the debugger can control AS7000

as required.

Note(s): If the security bit is set inside the EEPROM the

debugger is bypassed even if SIGREF is shorted to GND upon

startup.
