50 / 112 page  Functional Description STV2310 50/112 UDW Coding for CC In Closed Caption (CC) systems, a nibble split algorithm is applied. In all bytes, bit 6 is the even parity check of bits 5 to 0. Bit 7 is the complement of bit 6. ● CCUD00: This byte provides the LSB contents of the CC 1st byte of data. ● CCUD01: This byte provides the MSB contents of the CC 1st byte of data. ● CCUD10: This byte provides the LSB contents of the CC 2nd byte of data. ● CCUD11: This byte provides the MSB contents of the CC 2nd byte of data. ● CCUDL0: This byte provides the contents of the CC bytes parity check. ● CCUDL1: This byte is static and provide no information.
