Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EPROM/OTPROM)

4.4 EPROM/OTPROM Control Register

The EPROM control register controls EPROM/OTPROM

programming.

ELAT — EPROM/OTPROM Latch Control Bit

This read/write bit latches the address and data buses for

programming the EPROM/OTPROM. Clearing ELAT also clears the

EPGM bit. EPROM/OTPROM data cannot be read when ELAT is set.

1 = Buses configured for EPROM/OTPROM programming

0 = Buses configured for normal operation

EPGM — EPROM/OTPROM Program Control Bit

This read/write bit applies the programming voltage from the IRQ/V

pin to the EPROM/OTPROM. To write to the EPGM bit, the ELAT bit

must be set already. Reset clears the EPGM bit.

1 = EPROM/OTPROM programming power switched on

0 = EPROM/OTPROM programming power switched off
