EEPROM Data Memory Structure TheEEPROMDataMemorycapacityis64×8bitsfortheHT69F340andHT69F350and128×8 bitsfortheHT69F360.UnliketheProgramMemoryandRAMDataMemory,theEEPROMData Memoryisnotdirectlymappedintomemoryspaceandisthereforenotdirectlyaddressableinthe samewayastheothertypesofmemory.ReadandWriteoperationstotheEEPROMarecarriedout insinglebyteoperationsusinganaddressanddataregisterinallsectorsandasinglecontrolregister inSector1. EEPROM Registers ThreeregisterscontroltheoveralloperationoftheinternalEEPROMDataMemory.Thesearethe addressregister,EEA,thedataregister,EEDandasinglecontrolregister,EEC.AsboththeEEA andEEDregistersarelocatedinallsectors,theycanbedirectlyaccessedinthesamewasasany otherSpecialFunctionRegister.TheEECregisterhowever,beinglocatedinSector1,cannotbe directlyaddresseddirectlyandcanonlybereadfromorwrittentoindirectlyusingtheMP1L/MP1H orMP2L/MP2HMemoryPointerandIndirectAddressingRegister,IAR1orIAR2.Becausethe EECcontrolregisterislocatedataddress40HinSector1,theMP1LorMP2LMemoryPointerlow bytemustfirstbesettothevalue40HandtheMP1HorMP2HMemoryPointerhighbytesettothe value01HbeforeanyoperationsontheEECregisterareexecuted.
