Whenthisinstructionisexecutedundertheconditionsdescribedabove,thefollowingwilloccur: • Thesystemclockwillbestoppedandtheapplicationprogramwillstopatthe“HALT” instruction. • TheDataMemorycontentsandregisterswillmaintaintheirpresentcondition. • TheI/Oportswillmaintaintheirpresentconditions. • Inthestatusregister,thePowerDownflag,PDF,willbesetandtheWatchdogtime-outflag,TO, willbecleared. • TheWDTwillbeclearedandresumecountingiftheWDTfunctionisenabled.IftheWDTis disabledthenWDTwillbeclearedandstopped. Entering the IDLE0 Mode ThereisonlyonewayforthedevicetoentertheIDLE0Modeandthatistoexecutethe“HALT” instructionintheapplicationprogramwiththeFSIDENbitintheSCCregisterequalto"1"andthe FHIDENbitinSCCregisterequalto"0".Whenthisinstructionisexecutedundertheconditions describedabove,thefollowingwilloccur: • ThefHclockwillbeoffandthefSUBclockwillbeonandtheapplicationprogramwillstopatthe “HALT”instruction. • TheDataMemorycontentsandregisterswillmaintaintheirpresentcondition. • TheI/Oportswillmaintaintheirpresentconditions. • Inthestatusregister,thePowerDownflag,PDF,willbesetandtheWatchdogtime-outflag,TO, willbecleared. • TheWDTwillbeclearedandresumecountingiftheWDTfunctionisenabled.IftheWDTis disabledthenWDTwillbeclearedandstopped.
