Flash Memory Write Function Enable Procedure
InordertoallowuserstochangetheFlashmemorydatathroughtheIAPcontrolregisters,users
mustfirstenabletheFlashmemorywriteoperationbythefollowingprocedure:
1.Write“110”intotheFMOD2~FMOD0bitstoselecttheFWENmode.
2.SettheFWPENbitto“1”.Thestep1andstep2canbeexecutedsimultaneously.
3.Thepatterndatawithasequenceof00H,04H,0DH,09H,C3Hand40Hmustbewrittenintothe
FD1L,FD1H,FD2L,FD2H,FD3LandFD3Hregistersrespectively.
4.Acounterwithatime-outperiodof300μswillbeactivatedtoallowuserswritingthecorrect
patterndataintotheFD1L/FD1H~FD3L/FD3Hregisterpairs.Thecounterclockisprovidedby
fSUB.
5.Ifthecounteroverflowsorthepatterndataisincorrect,theFlashmemorywriteoperationwillnot
beenabledandusersmustagainrepeattheaboveprocedure.
6.Ifthepatterndataiscorrectbeforethecounteroverflows,theFlashmemorywriteoperationwill
beenabled.TheCFWENbitwillalsobesetto1byhardwaretoindicatethattheFlashmemory
writeoperationissuccessfullyenabled.
7.OncetheFlashmemorywriteoperationisenabled,theusercanchangetheFlashROMdata
throughtheFlashcontrolregister.
8.TodisabletheFlashmemorywriteoperation,theusercancleartheCFWENbitto0.
